Coach Broeg grew up swimming for a local club team at Pensacola Naval Aquatic Club which then merged with Greater Pensacola Aquatic Club. While there was not a high school team at her HS, Coach Broeg swam for her college team at Asbury College now Asbury University in Wilmore,
KY. Coach Broeg swam the mile, 100 back, 200 Free, Medley Relay and earned letters each year she participated on the team.
After graduating from Asbury, Coach Broeg was asked to start her coaching career with the Warren County Public Schools in Bowling Green, KY.
In 2004, Coach Broeg moved to Gwinnett County and started coaching the swim and dive team at Central Gwinnett HS.
In 2014, Coach Broeg moved to Archer HS!

Candi Thurmond grew up in Lawrenceville, Georgia, and is a graduate of Central Gwinnett High School. Although she never swam competitively, she has always enjoyed being in and around the pool.

3 Boys (Oldest 2 are in the United States Marines, stationed in Okinawa, Japan. The youngest in a senior at Archer High School and plays on the Varsity Baseball Team.
